As a child, when I wasn't deep into a book or a story of my own, I was tinkering around on the family computer. My love for all things tech was rivaled by a passion for storytelling, and I pursued journalism in college. That evolved into a career in digital media and project management, which brought me back to pixels and code.
Now, I am a digital project manager. I'm a life-long learner, and my latest foray has been into web design and front-end development. (I designed and coded this site from scratch!) When I'm offline, you can find me on a yoga mat, traveling with my girlfriend, Tzipi, or hanging with my dog, Tobie.
My project management experience spans multiple domains, from Wordpress websites and to web apps, to brand strategy work and creative services. With a penchant for organization, I take pride in my top-notch attention-to-detail and my ability to wrangle multiple, complex moving parts with efficiency and grace. I do my best to ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders - from designers and developers, to coworkers and clients - while delivering a delightful experience for end users.
With the bulk of my professional experience landing in the intersection between business, technology and design, my segue into product management has been a natural extension of my skills. I recently completed General Assembly's 10-week Product Management intensive, where I studied product management. Thus far, user research and testing, as well as data-driven problem-solving and decision making, have been some of my favorite parts of product management.
I’m experienced in creating both low-fidelity (<3 Balsamiq) and high-fidelity wireframes, in addition to pixel-perfect designs in Adobe Photoshop and Sketch, and prototypes in inVision. I’ve also conducted customer development interviews, and done user research and testing. Of all the things I do, web design (and what its future holds) is one of my favorite things to nerd out about! I'm also passionate about how user experience and design strategy can support business goals.
I grew up with my nose in a book and graduated from Boston University’s College of Communication with a degree in Journalism. That led me into the world of digital media, where I honed my copywriting skills while also cut my teeth in all things web-related. In addition to excellent communication skills (a must for any project manager, especially for one who manages remote teams) I have experience in copywriting, email marketing and social media strategy, content development.
